About Us

The American Dime Museum houses a typical mid-19th century collection of whatever the public was willing to pay 10 cents to see. Everything from a Peruvian amazon mummy and live snakehead fish to a collection of paintings by a chimpanzee and George Washington's false eyelashes. The museum also features a complete 20th century sideshow, the ultimate destiny of those collections.
