Advocacy
The Greater Baltimore History Alliance partners with other local organizations to advocate for the museum, heritage, and preservation communities.

Collaborations
The GBHA is in close communication with the state and city agencies responsible for planning the War of 1812 and Civil War commemorations. Information about both anniversaries will be shared with all members, and promotional and collaborative opportunities are being pursued. GBHA is also pursuing collaborations with Baltimore City Public Schools and other relevant organizations.

Staff members of member museums and individual GBHA members have the opportunity to attend training sessions and panel discussions to stay current on their professional skills.

The Greater Baltimore History Alliance offers a variety of publicity opportunities to help our member museums to spread the word about their exhibits and events.

Reciprocal Admission Program
Museum members of the Greater Baltimore History Alliance can choose to participate in a Reciprocal Admission Program that allows them to offer their members a pass to visit the other participating museums for free.
